THE RANKING SERIES

Insider Rankings are two-way surveys by which underwriters nominate the best brokers, and brokers nominate the best underwriters. Dedicated report's are available across 5 lines of business: Cyber, Political Risk, Political Violence, US Property Cat, and D&O.

 

Ranking are calculated using a scoring method known as the Borda count. This method provides consistent weighting to each vote while accounting for voters’ order of preference. The Borda count is used extensively in other popular ranking awards such as the NBA's Most Valuable Player Award or the Eurovision Song Contest.

 

Results are delivered through a series of annual reports, and awards events.
